I purchased the avr dragon, but it came with no documentation and I have no clue as to how to connect it to the chips I bought. Can you folks do a show on that topic. I have no idea which cables I need or how to use the dragon to get code to the chips.
Thank You,
Rocky

Just take a look at the AVR Studio Help….there you’ll find the complete Dragon User Guide

Ok, I’m downloading the latest version. I read the help in
the version 4.12 sp4 and still I am clueless. Where do I get the cable to interface with the chips, ATtiny chip family. Where does the cable go? I’m no EE, just some guy trying to teach myself a few new tricks.

unfortunately they don’t have an installation package that is worth a crap. I’ve downloaded the 73.8 MB file only to have it crash on every attempt to run it.

Great to see a small amount of the Atmel HQ - any chance of a special giving a virtual tour?

It is not actually the Atmel HQ, but the Atmel office in Norway, just outside Trondheim. It is Atmel Norway which are responsible for the AVR and AVR32 product ranges (-:
The virtual tour would be a nice feature to add to this page
